It doesn't have to be magical. If I can manage to be chaste my entire life, you can refrain from getting aroused on the occasions that we fight. I'd rather not have to see that while we're fighting. Not that I would be going out of my way to look... never mind, just- moving on.
I don't think you get it as much as you think. Fighting is the only time I feel alive, and the fact that the fights with you are good makes it enthralling. I don't know how to turn that off.
