He's not someone to go toe to toe with. He heals instantly, including from point-blank head shots with a hand cannon, and his strength and other features are enhanced. His bayonets are consecrated, as are the pages of his Bible, which are endless.
I killed him once, back home, but not without considerable difficulty even at my full strength. The only reason I was able to was because he transformed into something other before our fight, tipping the odds in my favor. Had he remained as he was, I'm certain he would have defeated me.
[ a sigh. for a moment, he sounds almost wistful. ]
He's my submissive here but naturally things are strained. I contracted him to keep an eye on him, but even I can't watch him constantly because of how I've been shackled here.
[ This information right here is exactly what Rafa asked Rip about, and it's exactly what she didn't tell him. Only the healing factor had been mentioned. Rafa asked her specifically about strength and speed! She hadn't mentioned the consecrated weapons, either, although it's not really a surprise.
At any rate, it's all good to know. ]
Thank you.
If the need arises, you will not face him alone. It is not that I doubt you, of course, but he seemed to threaten you by name on the Network despite you being his Dominant, as well as threatening the rest of us more generally. You will understand I have concerns.
It's best that I do, honestly. He's my responsibility here and if something happens it's on me to deal with it. As for threatening me, don't worry about it. He's...
[ a pause. ]
We're... That's just how things are, with us. As for his threats toward the rest of the city, I put more stock in that than the rest of the problem. Thankfully he does see our captors as more of a threat than his normal prey, so I'm trying to keep him focused on that. It's only partially working.
I know. My goals are to eradicate all monsters like me--those that have hurt humanity. His is to exterminate all vampires entirely. It's difficult to pry him from those ideals. It's why he has me in his sights as well, despite us being in the same profession. That said, his attacks in this place were before we contracted, and one of our stipulations is that he stays his hand unless forced. The only problem is, who knows what his definition of 'forced' is at any given time.
[ alucard isn't used to playing this game with him, and it's tiring. it shows in his tone. ]
I thank you for your offer off assistance, but I don't know if I can accept help knowing what he's capable of.
[ alucard's the strongest being on earth where he's from, and anderson still almost managed to kill him. ]
Death is temporary here, but I'm sure it's no more pleasant for it.
I do not intend to die, Alucard. Nor could I stand by and watch danger float around the necks of my people. You will be better equipped with aid.
[ Rafa knows he's not as powerful as Alucard, or Adrien, or Ignacio. It doesn't matter; he's bested more powerful challenges before, and he doesn't intend to avoid one out of fear. That has never been the kind of him. ]
If there were more of us together, trusting each other, that would help as well. Then you could call upon us as you needed us. We are all the weaker for division.

Given that he checked you by name, I assume you are the right person to ask. What do I need to know about this Father Anderson?

[ He sighs. ]
His 'normal prey' have done nothing to provoke his ire aside from existing. I know that you must see that. You have not raised your hand against us.
If he does, please know you can call on me for aid. I have a duty to my people, whether I am their prince here or not.
