[ the dog does obey, but not without a single whine. he rolls his eyes. ]
[She hears very faint footsteps, up until he opens the door, and before she could even greet him, a tiny dog had already squeezed out to try to get her attention.]
Goodness! He listens to his father, but he's a little bit mischievous, no? That was a rebellious look I saw there.
[But she still leans down to pat the little dear.] Hello, Baskerville, aren't you a darling!
[Is she pretending to ignore Alucard for the moment? Maaaaybe.]
[ he lets out a low laugh, shutting the door behind her once she's inside. ]
He can be a bit spoiled already, but at least he knows to behave.
[ he can tell when he's being ignored, but it's fine, because she's patting baskerville, who is more important and is, clearly, beside himself at the attention, wriggling and trying to lick her hands. ]
[Alucard is far too good-natured about this, when she was teasing him (sort of) already. But, that only means he loves his dog that much. She really can't help but rub his belly!]

[And from her bag, she takes out...well a lot, actually. Various boxes of dog treats, dog toys, and the biggest bone she could get her hands on. In fact, it looks stupidly big when she holds it too.]
And then this way I can distract you enough to squeeze in some time with your dog father too.
[So she was trying to get time with him anyway! She straightens up again.]
I brought over a few things for you, but I wasn't sure if it was okay for vampires to have human food either. Or if it even tasted good to you.
[SO...CUTE...She wants to scoop him up, is she able to scoop him up? She could hold him in one arm!! Well, she might try to open one arm out to see if she could get more doggy attention.]
Does that make me the best dog auntie now? I hope I'm the favourite.
[Actually she doesn't care who is the favourite. A good dog deserves EVERY DROP OF LOVE.]
But it's really nothing, I just saw all of these and thought of Baskerville. So I had to bring them over, no? [She's beaming, but if Alucard is able to eat food...] Bringing you food is nothing too, here.
[She takes out another box now.] I made these baked goods. On the right, a special pork pie, my recipe. On the left, jam-filled buns. Also something I've made.
[TIME TO PICK HIM UP, SHE MUST CARRY THE BABY! So she does, scooping him up into her arms! He's so tiny, but so soft and warm...she can hold him forever. Also now she understands whenever Alucard says he can hold him in one hand. Also how did he eat a shoe? Such mysteries.]
I am already so attached, look what you have done, Alucard! And Baskerville. [She snugs the little thing as she moves over to Alucard, looking up at him pleasantly.]
Well, they are made for you...I do not mind, if we are to share. I just hope they are to your tastes.
[ he ate it very determinedly. unfortunately. it's beyond repair. alucard doesn't mind much though, and replaced it with a proper chew toy so he wouldn't go around eating leather.
he smiles still, a little wider, and shrugs. ]
I enjoy eating best in company. Besides, if you made them, I'm sure they're delicious.
[ he's real good at that, huh? leaning back against the counter, he lofts an eyebrow as baskerville tries to stretch up and lick her face. ]
[There is only love in this house, for a dog to get so much love after eating the shoe of a man who reaches 7ft, and now gets to chew so happily. And she brought him a bone too!]
