[ alucard doesn't have his dog with him this time, when he appears. the priest lives with him now, so it's fine to leave the pup at home when he leaves. he's solidly in one piece now, no longer a yelling severed head, and it doesn't take him long to spot her by the tree and approach, inclining his head in greeting.
