goneforawalk: (don't look around)

There's a part of Alucard that had sworn to never associate with a butler ever again, even though that's absolutely absurd and unfair to all the butlers out there that never betrayed him or became nazi vampires. It would be unfair to Alfred for Alucard to refuse him, because he's been nothing but kind and helpful.

"I don't have an iron or an ironing board." Simply. "Or do you bring your own supplies?" Okay, he might be teasing a little, trying to improve his mood to suit having a visitor. It's strange to have someone not be afraid of his more eldritch aspects, but he is trying to keep them contained at the moment.

Sir makes him crack his neck anxiously, but he trails after Alfred anyway, only mildly awkward watching him tidy the sofa. "Sorry," he says, genuinely, "I was about dead when we got back, so my body went into overdrive with trying to compensate. So--here I've been, since." He hasn't done much at all. "I'm glad you checked here first, and that I didn't make you break out lockpicks to get in."

Another tease. The way to the bathroom is just as spartan as the rest of the place, but the bathroom itself is at least presentable.
